These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of AI Note Taker ("the App"), a transcription service powered by AI for iOS devices.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By using the app, you agree to these terms and conditions.
2. License to Use the App
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes. You agree not to modify, resell, or otherwise misuse the App.
3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App offers both free and premium features through in-app purchases and subscriptions. Subscription-based services provide access to premium features and may automatically renew unless canceled. Pricing and features for each subscription are clearly displayed within the app.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
You can manage your subscriptions and cancel auto-renewal via your Apple account settings. Refunds for subscriptions and in-app purchases are subject to Apple's policies.
5. Data Storage Options
- Local Storage: By default, transcripts and chat histories are stored locally on your device.
- CloudKit: Your data can be securely stored in CloudKit, allowing access across multiple devices. You can manage and delete your CloudKit data at any time.
6. Anonymous Usage Data
We collect anonymous usage data to enhance the performance and features of the App. This data helps us provide better services and improve user experience.
7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use the App for any illegal activities, attempt to reverse-engineer or decompile the App, or resell or redistribute transcriptions or AI-generated content.
8. Limitation of Liability
We make no guarantees about the accuracy of the transcriptions or the AI's output. Use of the App is at your own risk, and we are not liable for any errors, omissions, or damages arising from the use of the App.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Any changes will be posted within the app.
